Appearance/description: Average healthy adult male lokte with the usual assortment of heroic battlescars hidden beneath his grey fur; ancestral markings; full lustrous tail; deep-set, intense, ponderous eyes. Barely perceptible limp in right hindleg.
Personality: Tha'lab's strengths include trustworthiness, honesty, dependability, hard-working, selfless, and devotion to serving others' needs - even at the cost of his own. His weaknesses include being over-trusting, being too-honest, and not demanding enough of others when he might be the one who needs help. Tha'lab also possesses an almost supernatural ability to empathize extremely well and understand how others feel, a trait that functions simultaineously as both a strength and a weakness.
History/past experiences: Tha'lab has been through seasons of peace and seasons of battle; times of plenty as well as famine; Tha'lab has been both loved and lonely. Long ago he was a brilliant scout, but he retired from that role and now functions a s mentor. At this point in his life, Tha'lab often forsakes himself and his own interests in order to best serve the interests of the troop. In addition, he plays an important role in inculcating values in up-and-coming pups - especially those whose fathers have been lost in battle or are away on prolonged missions.
Phobia: Tha'lab suffers from an apparently irrational fear of bugs, especially beetles - their presence always puts him on edge and distracts him.
Obsession: Tha'lab can't resist stopping to snack on watercress, nasturtium, wild radish, or arugula whenever he happens to come upon a patch of it - no matter what else might be going on at the moment.
